The Resolution Less Than A Month In

Every action will have a reaction, we may not see it for years, but there will be one.  That is why the choices we make every day are so important, even those we deem small.  A prime example is food, many of us do not give a second thought to what we put into our body. It matters, we will see the obvious, which is weight gain, the part we do not see until we are in trouble is our health. Nothing will taste as good as healthy feels.

2020, No Time To Mess Around!

Its 2020 and yes it’s just a date on a calendar, but it also gives all of us a great starting point if we seek to make changes in our lives. When we wish to improve ourselves, it often seems overwhelming, so we take the familiar route and do nothing. This is actually much worse than facing our fears, getting uncomfortable and even failing, so we can grow.  What stops us?

We Begin A New Decade 2020

We close out another year and usher in a new decade. All of us tend to make resolutions on New Year’s day and yet how many of us follow through? We often give up within a month, why? Change is hard, leaving our comfort zone is not easy, does it mean we do not want to improve our lives?  We all have dreams and aspirations, but are we willing to put in the work that it will take to reach them? If we want something bad enough, we will make the time, find the funds, be consistent and throw away the excuses.

My Choice: Do Nothing Or Make the Best of Life

We will all come to a point when we feel we have hit rock bottom, placing the blame on others or circumstance no longer works, one path offers freedom, the other more of the same. Time to pick ourselves up and begin to repair the damage we have done. It starts with the mindset that we can do it, it takes consistency not for a day or a week, but for as long as it takes.

My Life Was A Mess. Then I took Control.

I thought I had bad luck, that I was suffering because of some outside influence. I was wrong, I made the choices that disrupted my life and it was up to me alone to put a stop to it.  I learned that I could change my life by changing my attitude. It is never an easy road, it took me decades to get where I was at this point and it would take years to get out.  I began, one step at a time, day after day, I kept moving forward.  Controlling my body through fitness and nutrition become a blessing because I could see results quickly.

Thanksgiving Day

We are all given gifts, they differ from person to person, it is what we do with them that counts.  If we waste them or don’t use them for a good purpose, things never seem to fall into place. We all know what is good for us, we don’t need someone to take charge, nobody can do it better than we can for ourselves.  Step up and take responsibility for our own lives.

Take Charge, Investigate, And Move Forward In Life.

How often do we let a lack of self-control set us back in life? Do we follow the latest trend blindly without doing our own due diligence?  Its time to step up, take charge, do our own research, trust in ourselves and live the life we dream of living.  Making our own informed decision is the only way to live life.

What We Put Into Our Bodies Really Matters!

There are few things in life we have control over, yet what we choose to consume is one that we alone determine.  The things we put into our bodies and minds matter. If we fill our days with low-grade fuel and thoughts, how can we expect anything good to come out of it?  It’s about time we step up, make the uncomfortable choices, take personal responsibility, this is when we stop letting others choose what is best for us.

FOOD #2

We are only free when we conquer our ignorance and weakness while taking personal responsibility for our actions.  It is when we put away selfish thoughts, stopping giving into animal indulgences that we realize just what our purpose is on this planet.

Wasted Time

We all have the same amount of hours in a day, Therefore each of us holds the key to our own life. The outcome good or bad falls on our shoulders. We can pursue small things that catch our eye, basically distractions or we can choose to work towards a major goal.  All of us must keep in mind, that once an hour has passed it is gone forever, there is nobody to blame, but ourselves. So we must choose wisely.
